• Topics:

The 7-38-55 Rule (Mehrabian’s Myth vs. Reality).
Identifying Common Barriers: Psychological, Linguistic, Cultural, Environmental.
The Role of Active Listening as the Bedrock of good communication.

PART 2: Mastering Active Listening

• Learning Objective: Move from passive hearing to active understanding.
• Topics:
The Difference Between Hearing and Listening.
Characteristics of Poor Listeners (e.g., interrupting, rehearsing a response).
Techniques for Active Listening:
